About UPHS Pueblo de panay
University of Perpetual Help System Pueblo de Panay (UPHS Pueblo de Panay) is the Capiz-based campus of the University of Perpetual Help System. It is located within Pueblo de Panay Township, a 670-hectare master-planned development in Roxas City, and was born from a partnership between the University of Perpetual Help System and Pueblo de Panay, Inc. The campus brings the Perpetual Help tradition of quality education to Western Visayas, offering programs in nursing, tourism management, and entertainment and multimedia computing, so that students can pursue specialized degrees closer to home. Set in a living township where education exists alongside business, IT-BPM, healthcare, government, and recreation, UPHS Pueblo de Panay remains committed to the Perpetual Help ideal of “Character Building is Nation Building,” forming competent, values-driven professionals and future leaders prepared for the world beyond graduation.

Campus History
Perpetual Help College of Manila was established in 1968, making it the first educational institution of the Perpetual Help System. It began with Nursing as its key program, reflecting the founders’
commitment to education and healthcare.
Over the succeeding decades, the Manila campus expanded beyond its original health-related orientation, developing programs in business, communication, hospitality and tourism, computer
studies, information technology, and other disciplines. The present Manila campus lists programs including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology, BA Communication, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Computer Studies, and Information Technology.
The Manila campus became the starting point of a broader educational system that subsequently expanded to other locations, including Pangasinan, Laguna, and other campuses. Thus, Manila holds a distinctive place in the institution’s history as the first home of the Perpetual Help educational mission.
Now known as University of Perpetual Help System Manila, the institution continues its mission of developing Filipino leaders through academic excellence, technology, research, community
partnerships, and character formation.
